New Jersey allows veterinary telemedicine. A veterinarian may establish the veterinarian-client-patient relationship through telemedicine — no in-person exam required, and no video mandate — so we can diagnose, treat and prescribe from a video visit. Before that first visit the Board requires the veterinarian to review your pet's history and records and to be satisfied that telemedicine can deliver the same standard of care as an in-person visit.
