Yes. In Virginia, Florida, New Jersey, and Washington DC, Dr. Lapera can prescribe during a video visit when it is medically appropriate, and the prescription is sent to your preferred online pharmacy. If you need more of a medication your pet is already on, book a visit — a new exam can result in a new prescription. In Maryland our veterinarian is licensed but state rules require an in-person exam before prescribing, so those visits are consultation-only.
