Dr. Michelle Lapera was born and raised in New York. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Delaware, where she studied Animal Science and Biology. She obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (VMD) at the University of Pennsylvania and has been practicing in northern Virginia for the past 12 years, treating dogs and cats.
Her areas of interests include: preventative medicine, emergency medicine, dentistry, and surgery. Her goal is to provide quality care for each pet and their family.
Outside of work, Dr. Lapera enjoys hiking and traveling. She has 4 dogs—a 14 year old Husky named Bella, a 9 year old Lab mix named Chance, a 7 year old Collie mix named Marbles, and a Husky puppy named Mika.
